Welcome to Edgewood, Indiana!

The first thing you’ll notice is the trees.

Not far from the bustling activity of Indianapolis, Anderson, and Muncie, and surrounded by acres of agricultural bounty, you’ll find an oasis of mature trees lining streets of a beautiful, well-kept homes and pretty parks.

You’ve arrived in Edgewood, a peaceful, neighborly community in central Indiana that’s home to just under 2,000 friendly residents. Settled in the early 1900s and incorporated in 1930, Edgewood is a close-knit community where neighbors gather on porches and patios, as their children play without worry in grassy yards and well-cared-for parks. We’re the kind of town where people get to know one another and keep an eye on each other’s homes.

Perhaps best known for the Edgewood Golf Club, our community features well-constructed homes along quiet, winding streets, with the right balance of retail businesses. We’re minutes away from everything the city offers, but worlds away from the hustle and bustle.

While our town may be small, we’re designated a bike-friendly city and we’ve earned national recognition as a Tree City USA from the National Arbor Day Foundation and the National Association of State Foresters, reflecting our commitment to preserving Edgewood’s natural beauty.

We invite you to visit Edgewood and experience everything we have to offer. And if you’re looking for a place to call home, we’d love to get to know you. Meanwhile, please look through our website to learn more about this very special place.
